Timeline for 2010 ECCE scheme

February – parents who wish to enrol or transfer their child to another service or to increase the number of days their child attends, your service must complete a parental declaration form and a transfer form, which you submit to the OMCYA by 5 March.

March 2010: Information Packs will be sent to all notified pre-schools inviting them to apply for the ECCE scheme in September 2010 CCSS services will also be invited to apply for the CCS/ECCE schemes.

April 2010: Closing date for the applications of the ECCE/CCS- 30th April

May 2010: The OMYCA will issue contracts to services for signature and return.

June 2010: Information leaflet for parents of qualifying children in September 2010 will be issued by the OMCYA.

July 2010: Information packs re the September 2010 ECCE/CCS electronic returns will be issued by OMCYA to all participating services.

September 2010: Reference week for Return is expected to be 6th-10th September

October 2010: Parents to complete parent declaration form if they wish to enrol their child in January 2011.

November 2010: January returns to be returned to the OMCYA no later than 12th November 2010

These dates are the expected timeframe for 2010 they may change.

* from January to June 2010 sessional services are paid for 115 days (23 weeks) this includes 4 Bank Holidays. You are required to open for 111 days, unless you have agreed to open in conjunction with the local primary school.
